Took my guitar to John at String King and couldn’t be happier. Extremely professional, clearly knows his craft, and took the time to explain everything in plain English. The setup was spot-on, the price was very fair, and there was absolutely no upselling nonsense.

John was a pleasure to deal with: straightforward, professional, very knowledgeable, and friendly. He recalibrated the set-up on a dreadnought (a Takamine F370SS) and sorted out the warped neck on a loft stored (?!) parlour guitar (an Art & Lutherie Ami Cedar). I've already recommended him to a couple of friends, & will be using his services for some other guitars - in a few weeks.
Overall: terrific. I could have talked to him for ages, but he had obviously had quite a bit of work to do. (He's v. reasonably priced too).
